Happily Ever After

Next week we’re trying something new. We are going to be meeting with a small group of participants who took EVE over the last few months. We’re curious to know what happens after the course ends. How is it working for you? Have you been able to recruit the volunteers of your dreams?

Perhaps the participants will appreciate the opportunity to reconnect with their peers. Maybe they will be excited to expand their network further. We might find out how the materials have (or haven’t) been adapted and used into daily work and routines.

Sequels have been all the rage in movies lately (as a huge Harry Potter fan I’m not complaining!) and I wonder if there’s a need for an EVE part 2. Have you ever taken training at Volunteer Calgary and wanted to come back for more?

The idea for the EVE follow-up came from a participant. Share your feedback and shape our programming! Send an email to jburstall@volunteercalgary.ab.ca or comment below.

Do Managers of Volunteers live “Happily Ever After” EVE? Check back next week to find out!

  1. I would very much benefit from an EVE part 2. I took EVE in March 2009 and how things have changed in my organization and my role having a refresher would be wonderful!
