Team VC: Making a mark on YYC!

Exciting news! Team Volunteer Calgary is gearing up to make a mark on YYC!

We are putting a team together to participate in the upcoming Calgary Marathon on May 27, 2012.  Almost 80% of our staff have committed to the challenge — to get fit, to raise funds, to have fun!

We are calling on Calgarians to support Team VC  by joining or sponsoring our team!  Help Volunteer Calgary build strong, vibrant, and highly engaged city.

If you’re a fan or running or walking, we challenge you to dedicate it to a good cause. We invite you to join our team and take advantage of a discounted race registration fee exclusively for those joining a charity. Check out our website to see how you can get started. Join or sponsor us here.

For the next 2 months leading up to race day, we will keep you posted on our team’s progress on this blog as well as try to keep team members motivated  throughout the training period.

Stay tuned and check back in weekly for updates.
