Around this time of year, when it starts snowing outside and on our blog, people usually feel the need to be nice(r). Could it be residual behaviour from our childhood days when we felt like we needed to make up for an entire year’s worth of mischief at the last-minute in an effort to get on a certain man in a red suit’s ‘Nice’ list?
Whatever it is, the holidays get most people in the mood to do good. Our blog’s statistics– yes, there is some science behind this–tell us that a lot of people have Googled “Christmas volunteering” or “holiday volunteer opportunities” in order to get to this page.
So in the spirit of the holidays, here’s a little something we’ve created for everyone who might be feeling the urge to do something good!
Our special edition Volunteer Calgary Advent Calendar contains some ideas of things you can do to satiate your need to spread the holiday cheer and help you do something good for others.
