Volunteer Calgary meets Breakfast Television

Breakfast TelevisionTo help celebrate National Volunteer Week, Breakfast Television connected with Volunteer Calgary and four of our members to highlight how non-profit organizations in Calgary engage their volunteers.

These segments were shot live on location at the different member organizations. Tuesday April 23  saw our communications director, Karen Franco, at the Calgary Humane Society.

Wednesday April 24th our own Aden Hirtle, web and new media coordinator, met up with the people at Neighbourlink for a segment in their warehouse.

Thursday April 25th, our Director of Fund Development, Marlene Mulligan, chatted with Leah Sarich about high-skills volunteers like board members at Making Changes.

Friday April 26th, our member services facilitator, J.P. Hermano, stopped by CCIS (Calgary Catholic Immigration Society) to let Breakfast Television’s viewers know about volunteer opportunities throughout our fair city.
